AFTERNOON FOR GUSTY WINDS AND LOW HUMIDITY FOR FIRE ZONES

* Winds...Northerly winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts 30 to 35 mph.

* Humidity...Overnight recoveries of 30 to 50 percent. Minimum
relative humidity of 13 to 23 percent today.

* Highest Threat...West side of the Sacramento Valley, mainly
along and West of Interstate 5, as well as the northeast
foothills.

* Impacts...The combination of gusty wind and low humidity can
cause fire to rapidly grow in size and intensity. Outdoor
burning is not recommended

A Red Flag Warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.

Chico Women’s Club to host concert this Friday

The concert will be located at the Chico Women’s Club which is located at 592 East 3rd Street in Chico. Doors open at 7 p.m. and music starts at 8 p.m.

Chico concerts has some new shows coming starting this Friday. They help support the historic Chico Women’s Club.

Rick Anderson joined Action News Now at noon to share the details.

The concert will be located at the Chico Women’s Club which is located at 592 East 3rd Street in Chico. Doors open at 7 p.m. and music starts at 8 p.m.

Tickets are available without service charges at Pullins and Music Connection in downtown Chico. Both locations prefer cash.
